Today I biked 15 or so miles to the Water Bridge north of Magdeburg. Built between 1998 and 2003, this water canal intersection was intended to provide better, cheaper transportation of lots of stuff but I didn’t see anyone using it the entire time I was there. It still looks cool though and I took some pictures. I first saw it on a map. It’s not too often one sees perpendicular rivers.
